Thoughts on the Upcoming Privacy-Enhancing Technologies Summit
In this blog post, MPC Alliance Board member Dan Bogdanov shares his thoughts on the upcoming PET Summit.
April 5th, the Privacy-Enhancing Technologies Summit will kick off in Zürich, Switzerland. Organised by Kisaco Research, the event is a spiritual successor to the Secure and Private Compute Summit from last year. The MPC Alliance was an event partner in 2021 and participated in panels and held a round table at the event.
The year is 2022, privacy technologies are playing an ever greater role and the MPC Alliance is partnering with Kisaco again to make sure that multi-party computation is represented at the event. Several MPC Alliance members are sponsors at the event and I am specially glad that support is up from last year. We will also again hold MPC Alliance discussions.
I also recommend you check out the [list of speakers - https://www.kisacoresearch.com/events/privacy-enhancing-technology-summit-europe#speakers]. You'll find many known industry leaders and researchers among them. Personally, I am very much looking forward to hearing about the use of secure computing in healthcare and finance. There will be multiple speakers on that topic.
Barring unforeseen blockers, I hope to be there in person Zürich and meet you to discuss MPC!
